Yet another day at work

I work all day so I don't have time to go out and shoot so I just shoot at work.

I finally got a couple of pics of this guy. He comes every year with another bald eagle. Last year there were 2 of these and 1 golden eagle on our pond. I snuck up on this guy and he didn't like it. Every picture I have of him he has his eye on me.

These koi fish had a cool contrasting color from the newly fallen snow.

Thanks guys, the fish one is pretty dope. I had to put my polarized filter on to see through the water. The thing I like about the fish is that there were thousands of little minnows swimming in the bottom of the frame I wanted to put them into it also but I didn't want it to distract from the coy.

You work in a pretty interesting place. Coy fish...how exotic!
Hey do you mind taking a few fotos of Bodi while we are up for the weddin? I will trade you for a haircut or some brownies or a hundred dollars?

I have a question... with all these awesome pictures, how many do you have to shoot before you get the REALLY good ones? I don't think any of my pictures have ever turned out this amazing... but I tend to take a bazillion pictures before I get one that I like. Is that true for you too?

Sometimes I have to take a couple before I get all of the settings right, but the koi shot for instance, I only took 3 of them and they were all pretty good. It doesn't hurt to be able to take 8 frames a second:)
