Westslope Rods

These custom bamboo fly rods are some of the best built that I have seen. They are amazingly custom, you can have Jory build you whatever weight, and action, and weight you want, then you can customize them beyond that you want, with guides, wrap colors, grip, reel seat, etc.

This is one of the rod cases that he built for a rod. Notice the indian head nickel attached to the leather on the cap of the rod tube.

This particular one is a Hex shape

Notice the detail

On the inside of the cap he has a little foam insert you can put unused flies

These wraps can be whatever color
This is a close up of the grip, the smaller pieces are birch bark

This particular rod was built for his dad

I am next on the list for a rod, I can hardly wait. I will update you with pics of the build (it takes a couple of months to build). Jory is one of the most talented guys I know, and he learned it all by himself. He also ties all of his own flies, which I really respect.
If you are interested in a rod for yourself, go to his blog and comment with your contact info.
